Important Notice:
There have been numerous cases of forged checks mailed out using our
federation's name. The scammers are sending out checks of large amount
($1,000 or more) randomly, asking you to deposit it to your bank account and then
wire transfer a portion of it to another individual.
If you're a not a member of our federation and received our check, it is most likely
a fraudulent check. Depositing such a check may cause you a trouble, so please
do not deposit it and instead mail it to our office (address below) immediately. This
criminal case is under investigation by the police and any evidence may lead to
finding the criminals.
