16th Traditional Karate ITKF World Championship
We are honoured to announce the Traditional Karate Federation of Poland will be the host of the 16th Traditional Karate ITKF World Championship.
The 16th Traditional Karate ITKF World Championship will take place in Lodz (Poland), on October 2-8, 2012 and it will be combined with 2nd Traditional Karate European Children’s Cup. Some activities will be held at the Japanese Martial Arts and Sports Centre „Dojo-Stara Wies” (Judges' Refresher Course, ITKF/Regional Meetings) but the tournament itself will take place at the Sport Hall Atlas Arena in Lodz.
For the first time in history the ITKF World Championship will provide opportunity for youth ages 14-20. Below are all age categories for the 2012 World Championship:
Cadet 14-15 years old
Junior 16-17 years old
Youth 18-20 years old
Senior 21+ years old
